The Nonsuch Inn - North Cheam

Visited 13th March 2011.

We had to visit a second pub just so that Mrs S. can have her pudding. At least, that was the excuse I used. Our second 'spoons of the day was, again, in the traditional Wetherspoon style except this one had an open fire which Mrs S. headed straight towards managing to plonk herself down right next to it! I opted for the chocolate pudding with ice-cream and a pint of Woodcote bitter, Mrs S. went for the sticky toffee pudding with custard and a Sailor Jerry and Pepsi. Our driver is not a pudding man and sadly had to stick with the Pepsi as well. Not such a happy day for him! It was nice to sit and relax, a chance to unwind, for once there was no pressure to get to another pub. Actually there was a little bit of pressure because Mrs S. wanted to get home by 9pm so that she didn't miss the start of the new series of Waking the Dead. No problem, plenty of time...
