The Red Lion & Pineapple - Acton
Visited 29th January 2012.
Just a mile down the road and we're at our third of the day. We liked this pub, with its out of the ordinary central bar feature and courteous staff. Pudding time, I had the sticky toffee, Mrs S. the pancakes and Duffy the crumble. Sadly no Buffalo Trace so I had to make do with Makers Mark (oh, what a hardship!) Mrs S. had a Pepsi and Duffy a G&T. We ended up staying a while and several more drinks were consumed... purely medicinal as we thought it looked like it was starting to get a bit cold outside. Once again, a nice way to spend an afternoon and the plan is to do it all again next week. Duffy is Scottish so we thought we would head to a pub in Twickenham for the start of the 6 Nations next Saturday, of course, we'll let you know how it goes.
