Basically this is a diary of the various Wetherspoon and Lloyds bars I visit and any adventures on the way, with maybe a few words about life as we know it thrown in for good measure.

The King James - Cheshunt
Visited 11th February 2013.
The next pub I visited had parking right outside it, sadly there were no spaces so I ended up parking down a side road a very short walk away. Apart from the health benefits of having to walk a few hundred yards instead of five it had the additionalbenefit that there was no charge. This pub was busier than the previous ones but I still had no problems finding somewhere to plant myself where I could enjoy my Orange & Passion fruit J2O. I also had a bag of McCoys plain crisps, not my first choice as I really wanted a bag of Monster Munch which Wetherspoons sadly seem to no longer do. Actually, not my second choice either but they didn't have any salt & vinegar crisps - what is the world coming to... a pub with no S&V crisps. The pub itself was decent, although maybe a little to blue for my tastes (colour, not atmosphere). Time to move on...
Determined. If it involves a beer. This has led me to commit myself to a "Quest" to visit and have at least one drink or meal in each Wetherspoons pub in the UK. I have set myself no time limit, in fact I have not set myself any rules other than the most basic.
Never drink before noon,
(it's always after noon somewhere), when in doubt turn left and never run with scissors.
