The Perkin Warbeck - Taunton
Visited 29th November 2013.
The Perkin Warbeck was also a bit of a surprise, it was so deep. It didn't seem very big from the outside but upon entering it was almost like an optical illusion as the interior went so far back. With so many booths all down the right hand side and the bar on the left we thought we would have no problem getting a booth but they were all taken and we eventually had to park ourselves at a table seemingly in the middle of the room. I had a Buffalo Trace and Pepsi and Mrs S. had a large latte. Again we didn't stay long as we were keen to get into Cornwall and find somewhere to stay. As we were not quite sure where we would be when we wanted to stop for the day we had not booked ahead for a hotel. In the summer this would be a big mistake as Cornwall fills up quickly but out of season what could possibly go wrong...
